Allogeneic Transplantation

To determine the level of match, special blood tests are performed. Then, high dose of chemotherapy or radiotherapy and in the final stage new cells are given to the patient.
Allogeneic bone marrow transplantation can be performed to treat diseases such as leukemia, aplastic anemia, myelodysplasia and high-grade lymphoma.
Autologous Transplantation
In the first stage stem cells are taken from the patient and specially reserved.
Then high dose of chemotherapy or radiotherapy given to the patient and after that stem cells are given back . The goal of this process is renegerating healthy bone marrow.
Autologous bone marrow transplantation can be performed to treat diseases such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemia, Hodgkin's lymphoma.
